Our Manhattan location is expanding and seeking top-quality Service Professionals. We pride ourselves on providing premium service at fair prices. In this position, your earnings potential is limited only by your willingness and ability, to THINK, plan, anticipate, execute, up-sell and deliver outstanding “Front Line” customer service. You will evaluate, troubleshoot, repair and test the product paying close attention to customer service. You are expected to have excellent customer service skills.
This position is responsible for the repair of products in the customer’s home. Products repaired include: Sealed System Refrigeration, Stoves, Ranges, Dishwashers, Washers/Dryers, Microwaves, Wine Coolers and other home appliances. This position provides timely and quality repairs of customers’ products while providing knowledgeable and courteous repair service. Additionally, technicians promote and sell additional products and services that directly impact the profitability of the company. If you qualify for the Mr. Appliance team, you will be provided with state-of-the-art computers, software systems, and communications such that your productivity will be second to none. You will be provided with ample training on our systems and technology as well as ongoing training in the rapidly changing world of household appliances.
Qualifications:
To provide the proper “Front Line” customer service, the Service Technician must:
- Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments
- Minimum 2 years ‘in-home’ repair experience
- Continuously look for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience
- Mentor other technicians, as applicable
- A background check is required and you must be bondable
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- CFC (EPA) certification
