Poor cleaning results
  • Clean your appliance as described in the operating instructions under “Cleaning and Care”. If the appliance continues to produce poor results, please contact our Customer Service.
The door cannot be opened
  • Check that the child-safety function is not activated. This can be deactivated as described in the operating instructions.
The salt reservoir has inadvertently been filled with detergent
  • Do not switch on the appliance, as detergent causes serious damage to the water softener. Please contact our Customer Service for information on how to proceed.
The inlet/drain indicator is flashing and an audible sound can be heard during drainage
  • Possibly there is debris in the drain pump. Please remove it according to the operating manual. You will find the proper instructions under the manual’s sections “Problem solving” and “Cleaning and care”.
The fault message “F52″ is indicated in the display
  • A sensor detected too much foam in the wash cabinet. The cleaning program has been interrupted. To erase the fault message, please turn the program selector to the “Stop/End” position or press the button “Start/Stop” for around 5 seconds, depending on the model type. Afterwards switch the appliance off and on. If detergent tabs are used, which already include the rinse aid, the function “2 in 1″ should be selected.
  • Please do not use detergent tabs in the program “Quick wash 40°C”.
